How to open a Microsoft word 2007 document with Word 2003
Unfortunately, Microsoft Word 2007 documents are not compatible with Microsoft Word 2003. This is a big problem if you want to use a document on more than one PC, and one does not have Office 2007. Fortunately, there are ways round this. You can either download a compatibility pack from Microsoft themselves, or convert the .docx file to .docCompatibility pack

- Once you have finished downloading it, install it.
- You should be able to open word 2007 documents in word 2003 without a problem.
- The only problem with this is that the download will take some time, and installing isn't very fast either. If you only have a file or two, this can be a bit of a pain. Also, you may not be allowed to install things in schools/colleges. That's where the second option, converting the docs file to .doc comes in handy
